Senivs is a form of Schonweis, the German name for the village that in Slovak is called Krasna Luka, meaning Beatiful Meadow. That small village is a few miles upstream of the larger village of Sarisske Dravce; as the Sarisske part indicated, these places are in the area of northeastern Slovakia formerlt called Saris County. They are about 20 miles northwest of the city of Pres'ov.

But I don't think there was ever any opal mining near there. Rather, the only opal mining I know of in Slovakia is in the area about 10 miles southeast of Pres'ov, near the village of Lucina. Looking at surnames that occur there (in 1995):

I notice Reicher. Phonetically, that would seem to be a good match for years Raycher.
