Looking for anyone who knows anything concerning the family of Mary Zygmunt, immigrated from Galacia. Some documents state she was born in Hungary, others that she was born in Poland, others that she was born in Slovakia. Date of birth about Nov 1, 1876. She married Joseph Zavada in NYC in Nov of 1904. They went by the last name of Smith then. She went "home" with her nine month old daughter in the summer of 1907 for about two years. They resided near Lehighton PA. Know that she had eight brothers that were all alive previous to WWI and were all still at her "hometown". She had no sisters. Mother, Anna Szyzych, or some spelling thereof, died about 1905. Her father, Marcin, or Martin, died previous to that, in an accident. Thanks for any help.
