Mark, I am sorry I did not express myself properly.My Mikos were Hungarian, thus the names were those I mentioned and once here in the US they were translated.
I have all the info I need from the Lipany church records, but am missing a lot from the time they arrived in the US.I know everything about the sisters, but hardly anything about the brothers.Steve Miko is the only one whose SSrecord I located as well as death certificate, which said he was a widow, but I cannot find a marriage certificate.Of course I have not tried the NJ archives as I am not sure how to approach them.I have no idea where Louis and Alex lived.... NJ?CT?somewhere else?I have searched NYC records but could not find anything.
