Ah-ha!!! Gotcha!! Guess where I'll be Tuesday morn? At FHC checking out fiche. I have a "Letter-writing Guide for Czech and Slovak" from the FHC with a form letter requesting research and how much you are willing to spend. It gets mailed to Praha and/or Bratislava, depending on which you want. They, in turn, send it on to whomever should get it. They supposedly will respond to you with the price for the info and you send it to them for their research. Kind of sounds like a black-market procedure, but a few people said it works. This is the one that I didn't hear from at all a few years back. Do you think it's worth a try again? I don't know of any relatives there so I will find someone like you say. Thanks so much. I may just get on the right track with your help. Thanks.
Kathie
