Thank you!I spoke with the family and they thought the name was originally Humenik.All I know about this family that immigrated is:
Michael Humnick
Born: January 1, 1887 in Czechloslovakia
Married: Mary Rakos in about 1908
Died: Febraury 21, 1975 in Hennepin County, Minnesota
Notes: His mother’s maiden name was Horgos.According to the 1930 census which was taken April 2, 1930, Mike was 43 years old and had married when he was 21 so in about 1908.He was born in Czechloslovakia as were both his parents (Austria Hungary was crossed out).His native tongue was Slovak.He immigrated in 1904 and was a naturalized citizen.

Born: September 14, 1887 in Czechloslovakia
Married: Michael Humnick
Died: November 6, 1986 in Hennepin County
Notes: Her mother’s maiden name was Pohrazany.According to the 1930 census which was taken April 2, 1930, she was 41 years old and had been married 19 years.She was born in Czechloslovakia as were both her parents (Austria Hungary was crossed out).Her native tongue was Slovak.She immigrated in 1904 and was a naturalized citizen.
