Just back from doing some other stuff and taking a second shot at your genealogy.
The second name would be Draganovsky (if male) and Draganovska (female).
Using phone listings, we find:
Andrej Draganovský, Komenského , Bardejov
Anna Draganovská, Malcov
Hyacinta Draganovská, Kozia , Bratislava
Ing. Jozef Draganovský, Palackého , Prešov
Ing. Marián Draganovský, L.Svobodu , Bardejov
Ing. Pavel Draganovský, Rozvodná , Bratislava
Ján Draganovský, Levoèská , Prešov
Ján Draganovský, Pod Šibenou horou , Bardejov
Ján Draganovský, Dlhý rad , Bardejov
Ján Draganovský, Bardejovská Zábava , Bardejov
Ján Draganovský, Dujava , Bardejovská Nová Ves
Jozef Draganovský, M.Hattalu , Dolný Kubín
Juraj Draganovský, Èeská Lípa , Bardejov
Justína Draganovská ,Andreja Sládkovièa , Dolný Kubín
Klára Draganovská, Hollého , Prešov
Margita Draganovská, Gen.Sázavského , Bardejov
Mária Draganovská, A.Matušku , Prešov
Marta Draganovská, Gorkého , Bardejov
Pavel Draganovský, Bajzova , Bratislava
Zlatica Draganovská, Cemjata , Prešov
Žofia Draganovská, Pod Kútmi , Bardejov
On another web site, The Adam Theorem states that husband and wife came from within TWO villages distance.
Using the phone listings as a guide to possible villages where the bride and groom originated, we come up with two possible areas and a third group which are rejects.
Wife is from one of:
1) Bardejov
1) Bardejovská Nová Ves(just east of Bardejov)
2) Malcov(west of Bardejov)
X) Prešov(south of Bardejov. Possible but not likely)
X) Dolný Kubín(central Slovakia)
X) Bratislava (much too far away)
Husband is from one of:
1) Bardejov
1) Poliakovce (southeast of Bardejov)
2) Gaboltov (northwest of Bardejov and northeast ofMalcov)
2) Sveržov (east of Malcov)
X) Nitrianske Pravno (north of Prievidza, western Slovakia)
In my list the villges listed as 1) go together and those listed as 2) go together.
What you need to do is to marshall your resources to find the original villages of Andrej Hiscar and Anna Draganovska
EI shows Marie Hiscar, age 21, arriving Oct 8, 1922 and headed for Allentown, PA.
If you use the Steve Morse site (White Form) and type part of the name eg Draganov, you will see some likely hits. Bardejov was Bartfa in Hungarian.
