What proof do you have that Trebisov is the name of a town that your ancestor was born in?Actually, if he came in 1900 his name could have been in Hungarian grammar and the village for sure in Hungarian, Toketerebes / Trebisov.Just wanting to make sure that we are directing you in the right direction.Every which way I search, the spelling OLEKSAK, OLEKSZAK points to a different region of Slovak Republic and not where Trebisov is. The village of Zdiar's phone book is listing OLEKS'AK. Take a look at Lorinz OLEKSZAKs Ellis Island manifest. Might he be your ancestor?
