John,
I don't have the answer, just have few observations which hopefully will help you somehow.
Before 1920 both of these places were part of Hungary, Árva County, Trsztena/Trstena District. The surrounding places, which had R.Cath. churches per the 1890 Hungarian Census, and today fall into Poland, are all missing the records at LDS: Oravka/Orawka(Kulich), Felsõ-Zubric(z)a, Jablonka, Pekelnik, and of course Podvilk and Bukovina-Podszkle/Bukowina-Podskle.
The old District capital Trsztena/Trstena which is in Slovakia today, has it's records:
Roman Catholic parish registers of baptisms, marriages and deaths for Trstená, Slovakia, formerly Trsztena, Árva, Hungary. Text in Latin and Hungarian.
I checked one other place which falls into Slovakia, and it also has the records:
Roman Catholic parish registers of baptisms, marriages, deaths, confirmations and conversions for Hladovka, Slovakia, formerly Hladovka, Árva, Hungary. Text in Latin and Hungarian.
So in my opinion, the records should be somewhere in Poland, and probably the Slovak archives also have copies. All these places belonged to the Szepes archdiocese. If you have time to invest, maybe going thru the Trstena records also would be worthile.
A comment on Podskle. It was not in the Censuses, that I had checked 'til 1900, it was a small rural settlement called Podszkle-puszta (prarie), jurisdictionwise (incl. Church) belonged to Bukovina, later Bukovina-Podszkle/Bukovinapodszkle/today Bukowina.
