The surname BOLCAR(OVA)lists in Zalesie's phone book.
www.zoznamst.sk
The spelling JURKOVSKY is Slovak and Polish would be JURKOWSKI.
The Laddie, Lottie you mentioned, I would say were of Bohemian aka Czech roots. There is a surname Jirkovsky.
The surname Jurkovsky could be under Yurkovsky, Yurkowsky in the census to give it the Jurkovsky pronounciation.

What spelling is Maria Jargovsky's manifest under?I can not seem to locate that manifest even using www.stevemorse.org
I found it under Jergovszky. To me, the town looks like it is Palanka. The town of Palanka is Bacs-Bodrog megye and at present in Yugoslavia.
