Death certificates are not a first class source. The family information that is recorded was usually reported by a family member who may or may not have had a sharp memory.
If either of these folks lived late into 1910 they may appear in the census for that year. Some of the data included was year of immigration, country of birth, and mother tongue. All of this stuff would be worth knowing.
If they attended a Slovak church there may be information about them in the church records.
