My wife has a few Rozas in her line. Her GMother, Rose Vontorcik married George Ferencz 1914 in Phoenixville. Her mother, Katarina, 11-25-1876--09-28-1917 was a Yashura (sp. variant) Father was John Yashura. I found a lot of Jasura's at Ellis Island, from A. Lipnica, who ended up in Phoenixville. My wife's Gparents (above) came over in 1911, through Baltimore, I believe. I have yet to pull the manifests to confirm. They moved to Stowe, PA before 1920. I have the LDS films of Lipnica church ordered through the Reading, PA branch to view within the next two weeks. I've just begun to scratch the surface for these surnames. Will be glad to share info if anyone has any names to look up from those towns.
Her Mother's side (Lansford, PA) were Lutherans from Kladzany, Zamutov, and Ninzy Zipov, all near Presov. Names I have found are Novotny, Bokros, and Orach. No info on these yet either. Its quite likely you are related through yashuras, though.
