Lower Mudville.Nyz'nyj (=Lower) S'ard is apparently called Nyznje Bolotne today.S'ard is presumably from the Magyar/Hungarian word "sar" = mud; I think "bolotne" means muddy in Ukrainian. This mostly Rusyn village is about 12 miles northwest of the Ukrainina town of Chust. There was also a Vys'nyj (=Upper) S'ard, a couple of miles southeast of N.S.; it is apparently called S'yroke (=Wide) today.
