As you may have;
Ira Slocum 7 ( David 6; Abreaham 5; Ebenezer 4; Eliezer 3; Giles 2; Philip 1) was born Pawling Township, Duchess County, New York, and married? Lane. He was a farmer in Union Vale Township, Duchess Co., with a post office, in 1882, at Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.
Of 7 children, Robert B., Born May 6, 1860, was the 5th child, who in 1882 had a post office box in Pawling, N.Y.
Unfortunately my book does not follow any of the children of Ira, further, so I am unable to help you into their future, only the past.
You might contact the town or city halls in the Pawling, Union Vale and Chestnut Ridge areas to see what they might have on births, marriages or deaths of Ira, or Robert. This information, if found, can lead you to the next place (es) they may have gone including their children's names. It might cost you $5-$10 for this info from the town (s), but is well worth it. Some towns do not charge a fee, while others will send your money back if they can't find anything....the money being used to photocopy and mail material if found.
Sorry I can't help (toward their continuations) and wish you good luck. If you have any other Slocum needs please get back to me...if I can hopefully help.
Regards,....Randy Weeks
