Lady Elephel Fitzgerald Slocum

Lady Elephel Fitzgerald Slocum, wife of Eliezer Slocum

Said to be the daughter of Earl Edmund Fitzgerald of Dublin
He lived during the end of the 16th century and could not be
The father of Elephel if she was born about 1664 in the 17th Century.

Was she the daughter of the Earl Wentworth, 17th Earl who died in 1664?
Or
Was she the daughter of Wentworth’s brother, Robert Fitzgerald who was
confined in Dublin Castle, I believe it was a religious war.

The Fitzgeralds had changed their religious support to Protestants.

I would say that Elephel and her sister were sold as wives for their
safety and money.

Elephel may have been the sister of Earl John Fitzgerald the 18th Earl of Kildare.
