SLOAN(E), MULDOON, McLARENCE-mid 1800s

My GG-Grandfather, Michael SLOAN(E) was born in England (c1830) but married in Ireland c1854 - My GG-Grandmother, Susan MULDOON, was born in Ireland and emigrated to England with her husband and their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth SLOAN(E), my G-Grandmother (b. August 1855). My GG-Grandparents emigrated from Belfast, County Down, Ireland to England sometime between 1855 and May 1861. Information gleaned from my Mother's files after Mom died indicated that Sarah Elizabeth SLOAN(E) was christened in Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire, England in August 1861. However, a review of the records of the cathedral do not support this ... wrong parental names and different middle names regarding the christened in that time frame.

However, it looks to me as though Michael and Susan (MULDOON) SLOAN(E) and their daughter entered England at Manchester, Lancashire, Eng. during the 1855-1861 time frame. Later they are found in County Durham at the time of their daughter's marriage to Francis McLARENCE (October 1873).

Can anyone tell me how to locate ships passenger records for the Ireland to England passage during that time frame? Does anyone recognize these names??

Diane
