Hello Mona and thank you for responding. It has been such a long time since I have worked on this, that I may be a little behind on current available information.
Yes, I have Joshua Sloan listed as being from South Carolina, but I have no notes on where I got that information. It may have been on a census but I do not know which one. Maybe the 1850 for Wilcox County.
Please tell me more about the will you mentioned. I am so eager to learn more about Joshua's ancestors. As for his descendants, I can only tell you what I know of his daughter, Indiana's line. She is my ggg grandmother.
