I am seeking parents of the following sisters:
+ i. Amy Jack SEXTON was born ABT 1892. She married "Lige/Lyge" Calhoun. He was born ABT 1878 and died ABT 1975. (7 children)
+ ii. Jane "Janie" Love SEXTON was born 31 AUG 1896 Sylvester, GA and died 2 SEP 1975 Front Royal, VA, buried Stevensburg Baptist Church Cemetery, Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA. She married Dr. James Lawrence Stringfellow, MD. He was born 14 AUG 1887 and died 4 JUN 1982. (4 children)
Family tradition states mother died in childbirth and father was unknown. Jane Love Sexton was raised by Benjamin J. Sloan and Martha Welch Johnston of Willingham, Worth Co., GA. Should be listed on 1900 Census Worth, GA & 1910 Census Haywood, NC as niece. She married James Lawrence Stringfellow 20 SEP 1919 and they removed to Culpeper Virginia.
Identity of mother currently unknown, but MAY be Bennie Love Johnston (b. 30 AUG 1866) youngest child of Benjamin J. Johnston and Martha Elizabeth Welch of Waynesville, Haywood Co., NC.
