War Graves Commission

If anyone is interested the Commonwealth War Graves Commission have a site where you can search their register for anyone who you may think has been killed in the two world wars. I searched out of curiosity as I never see the name Slingsby on a War Memeorial in England. I was surprised how many Slingsbys lost their lives in the two wars. The record often gives the names and place lived in of the parents and wife (if married).

I have often wondered if anyone would be interested in forming a Slingsby Society. Starting a repository of Slingsby geneology. Sounds like a lot of hard work to me but if there were enough people interested it might not be too hard
