My father's name was Albert Melvin. He was born in Susanville California, in 1925. His father's name was Albert also. He drove a mule team in the west. He was married to Maybelle Smith in Winnemucca, Nevada, and they moved to Susanville where they raised their family. Albert died in 1930 in a steamroller accident.
