Lawrence Arthur Slider is my grandfather. He, his twin brother Clarence Everett Slider and their brother Talph Thaddeus Slider worked during the war in South Dakota. They trained horses for the war.
I don't have any information on the other Sliders you listed. If you have any information to share it would be greatly appreciated.
