Slevins in San Francisco

I am searching for information about the Slevin family that was in San Francisco in the 1880's. My grandfather, George Edward Slevin was born in 1898 in San Francisco, CA., the oldest of seven children. His parents were Thomas Branley Slevin, Jr. and Mary Pierce. Thomas' sibling were: Rose Slevin, Jack Slevin and James Slevin. His parents wereThomas Branley Slevin and Molly?.

Family lore is that the family did not arrive in SF directly from Ireland; they migrated from somewhere on the East Coast.

George E. Slevin's siblings were Thomas, Elizabeth, Frank, Edward, Joseph and Angela.
