My mother recalls visiting
Slevin cousins in NY City in the 1920s. The man of the house was a doctor who saw his patients on the first floor of their home and they lived upstairs. One of the daughters married a man named Robert Frost (not the poet) who was a teacher or school administrator of some sort.

My mother was just a child and does not remember which side of the family was related. Her parents were Bartholomew John Meagher and Annie Agnes O'Hara. Other family names were Tyrrell and Kennedy.

I keep listing this Slevin name in hopes that I will find some more of my Irish connections. The counties where we know these folks came from are Sligo, Roscommon and Waterford.

All lived in VA, either in Norfolk or Richmond. Would like to share information if you think we might have any connection.

Mary Lee McNeil
