Michelle, there has to be a link here somewhere. I am researching the SLAYMON line who settled in Guernsey County, Ohio around 1864. Believe their name was Americanized from Slevin in Ireland. My maternal ggrandfather was Michael SLAYMON who is believed to be the eldest son of Thomas SLEVIN from Galway. There is also a branch who spelled the name SLAYMAN. I have everything forward from Michael. We should keep in touch to see if we can help each other out. Merry Christmas!
