Here are items found on GILMAN E. SLEEPER and his wife
SARAH ELIZABETH COOK. Hope there is something new here.
I could not locate him in the 1850 census. I have no idea who his parents were. I checked the 1830 census for families living in East Kingston (where he was born according to article I posted link to on this board)and there is only one SLEEPER family found in Kingston.
Samuel Sleeper Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire
In 1840 census he is still there: Samuel Sleeper Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire (plus other Sleepers are living there too) He is there in 1850 minus a son GILMAN. More investigation is need in East Kingston, NH.
