Thanks for taking the time to reply to my request. I did note that James Gray bought some things from the estate sale of John Sledge, but I have yet to find anyone who knows if this was the same James Gray who was remarried in Lauderdale Co., AL in 1832 and then went to Van Zandt Co., TX where he died in 1856. I do know he was married prior to the Lauderdale Co., AL marriage but do not know if it was the James Gray from Williamson County.
