I am a Sledge relative in Texas but I know we came from Alabama prior from NC and prior to that Virginia. I too am trying to find missing pieces of our family puzzle. Do not know how big your notebook is that the gentleman gave you but I would love to have a copy of it. Thanking you in advance.
