Never been confused with those guys before. I finally assumed you were looking at Roger Dale Slayton's posts under yours, and thought I was him.

As I stated before, any work you pick up from other researchers should be independently confirmed by you in the MO lines. W John Slayton has mixed excellent work with egregious guesswork, which doubles the efforts of anyone trying to work these lines. However, he is in MO, is from MO, and says his lines moved to Clay co MO from Barren co KY. He should be in a good position to work those particular lines.

Beware of any his assumptions about the pre-MO lines. The best face I can put on this is: the desire to present a comprehensive COMPLETE linked set of lines has overriden the virtue of patience and accuracy in providing a clear indication of where supporting documents exist and where pure guesswork is involved.
