My maiden name is Slauson. My mother's father was Wilbur Thomas Slauson, of Minnesota. The story I have heard is that we are descendants of Pocahontas. There is also some family history relating to that story in a book somewhere. Ervin Slauson of Minnesota
may have that information, but his dead brother Wilbur Slauson, disowned my mother, because she married an African American, in about 1960. Ervin Slauson is unlisted I believe.
