Hoping someone still reads genforum. I have been to Slavens.net many times, contacted Larry once/twice, hired researcher for Pike County. Trying to connect brick wall that has reared its ugly head again. Need information on family of John Slaven, Ireland, Revolution and wife Elizabeth Stuart. Specifically all theri grandchildren. I am trying to connect Mariah a/k/a Elizabeth to possible Slaven family, DOB abt 1797-1808 according to census. In and around, Greenbrier, Bath, Pocahontas, VA/WV. Hoping someone has moved research forward to lend credibility to family rumor unable to connect or prove. Mariah's husband later removed them from Virginia to Jackson County, Ohio. Family rumor they moved to follow a family member, not sure which side, possibly an uncle of Mariah's. Marriage record of Mariah cannot be found to date, all rumors to date. Rumor claims Reuben & Nancy Kinnison as parents. HELP
