Is the daughter you listed in your posting the only child of Robert and Mary? I found a Robert Slavin in the 1850 Red River county, Texas census with 7 children. I am interested in his daughter Nancy (1842-1860). She was the first wife of my great, great grandfather James Monroe Locker and the aunt of his second wife Cemantha Susanna Bible (my ancestor).
