I am looking for information about John Slaven. He was listed in the 1860 Third Ward, Hannibal, Missouri census as living with Michael and Rosa McConnell Quinlan family. He is listed as a 28 year old common laborer from Ireland. I am trying to find if he was related to the Quinlan family. This census is the only document that shows a connection between John Slaven and this Quinlan family whom I am researching. I have no further information on John Slaven. Michael Quinlan came from Tipperary, Ireland in the early 1850s to Newburg, New York. The Quinlan family came to Hannibal between 1857-1859. They moved to Monroe County, Missouri before 1862 and Audrain County, Missouri about 1885.
