My Great-Grandfather is Leland H. Slaven (1891-1978)TN; Leland was married to Nellie Abbott(1895-1980)KY. I am trying to find information on Leland's father, Marion Slaven. I believe Marion was born in Nov 1856 in TN. Marion was married to Linda Smith (b. 1866 not possitive)which I believe was his 2nd wife. I cannot find anything on Marion before 1900. Marion and Linda had 5 Children; Nancy, Mary, Leland, Nellie and Levi. On the 1920 census, listed is a Nancy, Relationship: mother; 80 years old; widowed. She could possibly be Marion's mother. All census' show Leland, Marion and Nancy as being born in Tennessee as well as all of their Mother's and Father's.
If anyone has any information that could possibly help, I would appreciate it greatly as I am at a dead-end.
