thankyou James for replying to my messages sorry I took a while to get back to you.I found that very interesting about your family tree,I hav'nt found anything to connect
my rose slavin on the ship as yet.
that was a bit of a stab in the dark but you have to start some where when you have nothing to go on.
the name slavin/slevin/slaven is'nt very common in new zealand there is a few over in Australia I also can'nt see a woman travelling by herself specially in those days,
she must of been with some family.
