Nothing like responding to your own post. . . Hadn't realized it but I have James's first wife's name on a death record of one of his sons. First wife was Lucy DAVIS-- anyone have any info on her? Also, if it helps, James's children and their approximate birth year, based on the 1850 census, are: HENRY b. 1830; NANCY b. 1832; Willis b. 1835; JESSE b. 1837; MILTON b. 1840; MARY b. 1843; and WILLIAM (my ggrandfather) b. 1846. All would have presumably been born in Hendricks Co.
