I'm trying to find the ancestors of Slaughters from Fresno, California and the furthest I've gotten is to my grandfather, Porter Otto Slaughter, reportedly born in Arkansas on October 9, 1884. I have fairly extensive information on the Sherrod side of the family, beginning with my grandmother Mamie, wife of Otto. If anyone has information for Slaughters beyond my grandfather, I would appreciate hearing about it.
