There is an abandoned mercury mine near Kilkivan called Wallman Lode Mine. I don't know if Heinrich was involved in this mine but he was in the area.
In 20/08/1915 Conrad Heinrich Christian Wallmann enlisted in World War 1 in the 2nd Pioneer Battalion using the name Conrad Henry Wallman. He returned to Australia from the War in 28/08/1919. The family has always been known as Wallman from this date. Every generation of the Australian Wallman's has used the chrisian name Henry.
