This is what I have. Slatter family came to Rains County Texas in the 1870's from Georgia. Septemus Paul Slatter and his five brothers and one sister came after the mysterious disappearance of their father.Septemus married Mary Fannie Sells in 1881, known as Uncle Bud and Aunt Mitt, they had five children, one of which was named Lemuel Fredrick Washington and known as "Fred". I have a picture of L.F. and his wife Dortha Edith Johnson. This is probably related to you?
