Hello, I am getting stuck on some of my Slater line in this area of England. If anyone has gotten further than me please advise.
The furthest I have is Edward Slater who married Jane Nicholson in in Northumberland in 1779. They had a son John Slater born in Northumberland in 1781 who married Mary Liddle(or Liddell or Liddel). And they had a son named John Slater born in 1806 in Durham County. John's wife's name was Sarah (don't have a maiden), and they had five kids, Richard, Thomas, John Jr., Dorothey and Edward.
If anything close to any of this is in any of your records, please contact me, I'd like share ideas.
