Hi Roy, My name is Stacy and my side of the Slate's come from Tennessee and Oklahoma. We also have family in Virgina. My dad was Cecil Slate born in Ok and his father William Slate born in Texas. My greatgrandfather Wade was born in Vir he married Sarah Humphreys. They are both buried in Ok. William married Minnie Mae Bence they are also buried in Ok. Daddy married Ruie Snow they divorced and he married Beluah Cerventy she passed in 1959 he then married my mom Ellen Kendall. Daddy is buried in Derby Kansas. I like to see if maybe we are realated.
