Has anyone made a connection...just when I was convinced that the correct lineage for my family was through Cornelius Slecht I find a picture of a fighter from 16th century England that looks so much like my grandfather that
it is unsettling. It seems that the Slacks of Ohio were of both lineages...so now wondering what that connection was,
all kinds of speculation but I have nothing specific.
My hunch is either several people have been wrong about the Dutch lineage or they were all from the same family all the way back to England...very confused.
