I am searching for information on my gruncle Frank SKOGSBERG who immigrated to Chicago early in the 1900's. Frank was from Amal (sp?)Dalsland, Sweden. He married Esther Lindquist, also from Amal. They lived in Chicago, then moved to Alta, Iowa, and then to Rockford, IL. My grandmother was Esther's sister. I have just located Frank's last living son, Sigurd Skogsberg. Have you found any further information on your Emil? Could he be a relative of Frank's? I would love to know if there is a connection.
