John Wiley Skipper born 26 Jan 1810 Brunswick Co., NC died 30 Jan 1885 Clarke Co., AL was the father of Nathaniel G. Skipper born 1834 in Brunswick Co., NC. (I've never seen documentation for a middle name George, and since John W. Skipper had a son George, I doubt its Nathaniel's middle name.)

Good luck with tying the southern Alabama Skipper families together :) I've been working on it for almost 30 years now, and seems I've not made much progress at all. It would be great if some of the Skipper men would have DNA testing. I believe it would help a lot with the confusion.
