Penina Skinner, who married David Etheridge, has Currituck Co, NC roots, I believe. They migrated to Davidson Co., TN around the same time (early 1800s). I think David died ca. 1823 in Stewart Co, TN. Maybe David is connected to Nathan. You might look back at Currituck Co, NC records for this marriage.
