I just found today that Ella Mae Payton b abt 1882 married Mathew Johnson Skinner. Ella is the dau of William Edward Payton and Lucinda Palestine Huckabee, whose info I just found today.
William Edward Payton is the son of Henry Payton and Elminee E. Tucker Payton. Elminee is the sister of my great grandfather and I have been looking for info on her family for some time.
She and Henry married in Elbert Co., Ga., moved to Alabama and then on to Bradley Co., Ark. where they were in the 1860 Census. I have been unable to find them or their family after that census until finding info on William today.
Any information that you can share with me about the Skinner-Payton family would be most appreciated. If desired, I will furnish info about William's family.
