LOST IN MICHIGAN! Aden/Adin C. Skinner
Looking for information regarding Aden/Adin C. SKINNER, born circa 1834, married circa 1856 to Eliza A. (surname unknown), and died during the Civil War (probably in November 1863 in Tennessee). They lived in Clinton County, Michigan and had three children: Aden W. Skinner, born ca1857, Eliza Z. Skinner, born ca1859, and Zephtha A. Skinner, born ca1863. The widowed Eliza A. remarried in 1866 in Clinton County to Edward O. Butterfield, born circa 1813 in New York. They had one child Edward U. (or N.) Butterfield before Edward Sr. died in 1868. Eliza A. died in 1873 and both were buried in South Riley Cemetery, Riley Township, Clinton County, Michigan. What happened to the children? Where did they go? Who was Aden/Adin C. Skinner? From where did he come? Any information appreciated.
