I grew up in Skinker's Neck and there are Garretts still there. Are you related to Lefoe? My parents would know information on the Garretts, Broadduses, and Lefoes. Send me your questions and I will try to get some answers. Email directly.
Interestingly, the old Garrett place (house) was sold by a development to a private family who are slowly trying to restore the structure after years of abuse. Let's hope they succeed.
Ron Gallahan is a cousin of mine and has always been very interested in the history of the family (Skinkers).
You know that there is a Skinker book that lists the Skinkers down to the descendents of Ben Skinker. That might be helpful to trace some of the interweavings of the families you mentioned.
