I tried to respond to your message a couple of weeks ago but apparently did it incorrectly. Yesterday, I posted a new message of my own regarding my grandmother Louetta Skimmerhorn Coker, born 1878, orphaned at a young age, lived most of her life and is buried in Parke County Indiana. Because she was a young orphan, no one has much information about her ancestry. The coincidence of your finding Skimmerhorn documents in Parke Co.IN, which is a small rural county, causes me to wonder about a possible connection to my grandmother. You can find what I do know on my genforum message and any additional information you can give me is greatly appreciated.

John Coker
