My Grandfather, William N. Skillman was the first station agent at the Skillman (N.J.) Station on the Reading RR Bound Brook line, starting there in 1893, retiring in 1938. Sadly, he died two months later. The Station and Town were named for Abraham J. Skillman, who was the son of Joseph A. Skillman (Abraham, Thomas, Isaac, Thomas, Thomas(Im. 1664)) He sold the right-of-way to the Reading RR.
