Would like to have more information on Lou Dicy Skillington.
This is what I have. I would appreciate more information or corrections.

I have spelled her name just the way I found it in all the records.
From court records in Williamson County in 1823, Clarrissa Skillington, John Skillington, Elizabeth Skillington (my ancestor) and Scintha Skillington, orphans are to be cared for by Dicy Skillington and George Whithore. (Who is he?)

In Dec 1818 Ludecy Skelenton bought 41 1/4 acres on Grove Creek in Williamson Co., TN from John Hale and Polly Sampson, executors of the estate of Richard Sampson. She paid ninety dollars. This was recorded Dec 5, 1818 in deed book E, page 413.

In the 1850 census of Marshall Co., TN Ludica Skilleton,Female Age 70 born in VA, is in the household of
Sterling and Elizabeth Skillington Sledge.
According to other records Lou Dicy was born 1782 in VA and died July 1875, and is buried in the Hargrove Cemetery on the Williamson/Marshall Co., TN line. She is buried beside Bennett and Classie Skillington Hargrove.
Clarrisa, John, Elizabeth and Scintha Skilling are all listed as being born in N. C.
