A female named Ludica Skillington age 70 is living in the Sterling Sledge household in 1850 Marshall Co., TN census. In the published MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON CO. TN is the following 1823- Clarissa Skillington, John Skillington, Elizabeth Skillington, Scintha Skillington, orphans are to be cared for by Dicy Skillington and George Whitehorn. Seems odd for 2 men to be named to care for the orphans.
